Pleotint’s special film has the same PVB (Polyvinyl Butral) base material of the film used in laminated safety glass. The PVB film holds the glass in place when the glass breaks. An attack from outside will be frustrated by the middle laminate pane. The outer glass will break but the inner laminate will take many blows to penetrate.
