Pleotint’s SRT™ window system will automatically darken as the sunlight intensity increases, the warmer it gets, the darker the glass becomes. There is no need to pull the blinds or shades unless privacy is needed. The total window package has a high visible transmission of around 50%  when the sunlight is not intense, on cloudy days, at night or early in the morning. As the sunlight warms the thermochromic film, the window continuously changes its transmission from 50% down to 10% or less, depending on the sunlight angle and intensity. This reduced transmission reduces the sunlight glare. As the sunlight grows less intense, the window’s light transmission returns to the original high transmission condition.
